Landscape
Beauty abounds.
Just look around
and you will see—
a quivering leaf,
a patch of grass,
billowing clouds,
and a slash of light
beneath the bridge.
It’s not a bad world, really.
We just need
to train our eyes
to gaze with wonder,
and marvel at the
transcendental pageantry of life.
It’s there before you.
But first you must
ZOOM OUT—
ZOOM OUT
and refocus the image.
There. Hold it.
Do you see it now?

What a beautiful poem. I love its gentle reminder that beauty is all around us—we simply have to slow down, change our perspective, and truly notice it. Sometimes all it takes is “zooming out” to see that even the ordinary is filled with wonder. A lovely invitation to appreciate the quiet miracles of everyday life.
